March Meeting

Our meeting for March will be on the 25th at the Bob Duncan Center at 7:30. Karen Scarberry will be presenting on color. As always, the room will be open beforehand for chatting and knitting. It's a wonderful time to see what others are making.

February Meeting

Our meeting for February will be Tuesday, 26 February at the Bob Duncan Center at 7:30. Kate Rayburn will be presenting the second part of 2 Socks - 1 Needle. Also, we will be having sandwiches before the meeting during our informal social time beginning around 6. Come and enjoy yourselves.

Mark your calendars as our workshop for next year has been scheduled! Maureen Mason-Jamieson will be here to teach on 14 and 15 November. Topic and cost yet to be determined.

January Meeting

Our meeting this month will be on 22 January at 7:30 at the Bob Duncan Center. As always, the room will be available beforehand for showing off your work and catching up.

This month we will begin a 2-part series on knitting two socks at once using the magic loop method taught by Kate Rayburn.

November Meeting

This month our meeting is changing dates to the Second Tuesday (13 November) due to Thanksgiving. Alyssa Barton will be presenting on setting in sleeves and finishing techniques. Come prepared to ask questions!

Also, if you wish to participate in the scarf swap remember to bring 2-300 yards of a scarf yarn in a brown paper bag. The finished scarves will need to be returned at the January meeting.

October Meeting

Our meeting this month will be on 23 October at 7:30 at the Bob Duncan Center. As always, the room will be available beforehand for showing off your work and catching up. The topic this month will be a recap of things seen and learned at Stitches Midwest from two of our very own members.

September Meeting

We are kicking off our year with the September meeting on 25 September 2007 at the Bob Duncan Center. The meeting will begin at 7:30 PM but the room will be open before that to catch up with each other and see all the wonderful things we have knit over the summer. Our speaker will be Paula Burns on the Art of Embellishment.

Guild Retreat

Mark your calendars for 1-3 February 2008 for our annual trek to Pecan Plantation. There will be a sign-up at the September meeting. Know who your roommate(s) are going to be.
